Left Springer Mountain, Georgia this morning after a great weekend with my family in Atlanta. My sincerest gratitude to the Lyons: Kevin and Barbara, and Matt, Michelle, Kyle and Jacob for all the generous hospitality!

Miles hiked today: 12.2

I had intended to stop at Hawk Mtn. shelter for the day but was 2 miles past the shelter before I realized it was behind me. Oh well, at least I put in some extra miles. Gonna sleep well tonight.
