A shortened day today. Stopped in Duncannon PA, a town on the Susquehanna River, to resupply and do laundry. Staying at The Doyle Hotel, a run-down old building that's a favorite stop for hikers; the trail goes right past it, rooms are inexpensive, and there's a pub downstairs.
I'm doing my best to stop buying so much food when I resupply. I always end up carrying more than I need and it's just unnecessary pack weight. I think I did ok this time, disciplining myself not to pack too much.
I'll try to get an early start and put in some good miles tomorrow. I should be well rested after the short day today.
